Thanksgiving 2011

I love holidays, but Thanksgiving is by far my favorite. It's a day you spend with loved ones and stuff your face with food and beverages. What's better than that?
Mace rested under the table to make sure he was ready when people started sitting down with their food.

There's the legendary turkey master. He made one in the smoker and one in the oven. Both were delicious. This Minnesota guy is enjoying being outside barefoot on Thanksgiving while smoking the turkey.
Then it was time to just hang out.
This is how Allison, or "Asson" as Kathryn calls her, spent most of her first Thanksgiving.

I like seeing this picture because it reminds me of Kathryn as a newborn baby sleeping in this little pink fuzzy basket.

Nathan even likes holding Alli.
But Kathryn likes holding her the best.
She gets so calm and just gazes down at Alli when she's holding her.
"Something's not right here. Why do they always give Kathryn the real baby and I'm always stuck with this baby doll?" Me with my new little niece.
The Florida fam.
Little holiday jumper models.
Like I said earlier, these little girls were best friends on Thanksgiving. Maybe they're turning over a new leaf.
Little models with their favorite clothing designer.
Admiring Alli.
Kathryn and Jessica had fun playing together this time around.
They giggled together the entire time they were together. In this particular picture Jessica was laughing so hard and getting so excited that she couldn't help but grab Kathryn's head. It was a pretty hilarious scene.
It was Laura and Joe against Steve and me in a friendly game of cornhole. Okay, maybe not so friendly between Steve and me as I think he's going to divorce me if I cause us to lose one more game of cornhole. I've been practicing though, so watch out everybody!
New traditions are happening all the time. Whatever your second choice costume was for Halloween, you dress up as that for Thanksgiving. Here is John Lennon.
Then on Thanksgiving you start planning who you want to dress up as for Christmas.
Nathan requested that someone dress up as Yoko Ono as a John Lennon accessory. Since Kathryn was severely grossed out by the wig, Lady got to play the role. I know... I'm thinking the same thing right about now. What's wrong with us?
