Here is what Nate last looked like as a four year old on the night of April 6.
And now a five year old on the morning of April 7. He woke up so proud showing me how much stronger and taller he was since he turned 5.
Nate must have known he would be better off by saying he didn't want a big friend birthday party. This way he's gotten to celebrate three times, each time with cake and gifts. Smart little guy. We got together with our friends for some Japanese take-out and my friend surprised Nate with a birthday cake. He had a little impromptu party with his friends Kate and Patrick. That was so sweet!
