My Little Birthday Girl

It's hard to believe Boomba turned 3 years old last week. We celebrated with a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party with some of her closest friends. Here I am with my baby girl wearing our pink Minnie Mouse shirts. I bought one just for the occasion.
Here is the little birthday girl waiting for her friends to arrive.
Kathryn hung out with her first couple of guests.
This...
Quickly turned into this...
The main attraction was the giant bounce house.

Here is Kathryn with her two best friends in her class, Libby and Addison.

Nate managed to have a few of his own friends come to the party too.
Is there anything else in the world other than Minnie Mouse? Not at our house.

 Happy Birthday to You, Kathryn!

 Next up... cupcake decorating.

The cupcake decorating was even more exciting to everyone than the bounce house.

Nate and Patrick.
This was the older brothers table. It worked out that Nate is friends with three older brothers of Kathryn's friends.
Gift time.
She got soooo much stuff this year.
This was her first real birthday party, but I think she might be hooked now.
Everyone knows her love of Minnie Mouse so she racked up on Minnie Mouse toys.
Here she is about ready to pass out at the end of her party. Her friend Addison posed for a picture with her. Kathryn liked her signature pose after seeing this picture so she might try and steal it. We'll see.
After the party my friend and I got our turn in the bounce house.
I figured I might as well get our money's worth.
Kathryn had all the birthday partying she could handle. Playing with 15 kids in an afternoon sure wears a girl out! She fell asleep at 5 p.m. and slept through 'til morning. Happy Birthday, Kathryn. I hope you enjoyed it!!!

Thanksgiving Luncheon at FBCN

This year Kathryn was old enough to get to sing Thanksgiving songs at the school luncheon. It was extra cute because my class was up there with her so I got to be up close watching her. Here we are waiting to make our big entrance for all the families.

She was a little pilgrim girl.
 Waiting to get started.
 Singing her little heart out.

Afterwards with Mommy and Daddy.
And she finished the day off with a cake pop.

School Birthday Celebration

Kathryn brought cupcakes to her class to celebrate her birthday at school.
It was so exciting. They sang "Happy Birthday" to her and everything.
I gave her teachers my camera and asked them to take a bunch of pictures. Here she is tired of having her picture taken.
Finally, she gets to dig in!
She took her teachers a special cupcake creation that looked like Little Mack. It was made out of two cupcakes so she made the joke to her teachers about which teacher gets to eat the tail end. Kathryn has a very close, fun relationship with her teachers.

Allison's 1st Birthday

Allison had her first birthday bash a couple of weeks ago. We drove out to Pensacola for the festivities. Mace and Mack even joined us.
Mace called shotgun while Mack snuggled in the car seat.
 Birthday girl!
Getting ready for the bounce house.
Yes, I do carry Little Mack around in a homemade sling. He's my baby.
 Mace is also my baby.
But Little Mack always runs him off. Little Mack's jealousy gets the best of him at times.
Paw-Paw and Allison and her giant Minnie Mouse.
