Pals with Parker

Our friends from Tennessee, Chelsea and Parker, came for a visit last week. Nathan and Kathryn had fun playing with Parker and visiting with Chelsea.
Parker especially liked the trampoline.
Parker's favorite part of the trip was getting to push Kathryn around in the stroller. Of course, Nathan wanted to help push her after Parker made it look like fun.
Nathan took a break to show Baby Sister some love.
I have no idea why, but she thinks he's so awesome. I guess I used to think the same about my big brother. She'll definitely outgrow that.
Chelsea and Parker left while Nathan and Kathryn were at school, so here they are giving each other a good-bye hug before we left for school.

Halloween Treat

Nathan and Kathryn celebrated Halloween at school today. Since the theme this month was fairytales, they had a Fairytale Ball, complete with music and dancing and cookie decorating. Of course, Nathan wouldn't wear his Monsters, Inc. Sulley costume. Instead he chose to go dressed as a Nathan.
The cutest costume in the class was the garden gnome costume.
I got some pictures of Nathan at lunch today. He's one of the slowest eaters in the class... as you can see most kids are already up from the table. He spends a lot of time doing everything that doesn't involve eating.
After lunch the kids work on their journals. Nathan makes a few scribbles then he's done. It's funny because all he wanted to do at his last school is color. Now he would rather do anything other than coloring or arts and crafts.
He "made" an Oreo cookie spider with pretzel legs. I stuck some pretzels in the cookie for him and he got mad, so he's actually pulling the pretzels out of the Oreo here.
The cutest part of the day was seeing Kathryn in her ladybug costume.
She looks so grown up here. I can't believe she's almost a year old!
Kathryn is always a huge hit at school, but she was even more so today with her cute little costume.

Georgia Getaway

Here are some pictures from our visit to Paw-Paw and Lady's house. Nathan and Paw-Paw make it a point to hit every playground within a 2 mile radius of their house. Yes, I said their house because Nathan believes that he is partial owner of that house in Georgia.
Happy family.
Only with Paw-Paw and Lady can Nathan go to Target and ask for a sombrero and actually get it.
Loving life.

The Jump Off

This is what Nathan does all the time. He jumps on things, off things, up and down on things. I was looking through pictures and noticed a trend over the past couple of months.

Yo Gabba Gabba Live

When I found out Yo Gabba Gabba Live was coming to Atlanta, I had to make sure Nathan got in on the action. He and Paw-Paw went together. Steve and I see our fair share of Yo Gabba Gabba at home.

Nathan loved the show so much that he asked if he could go back again on Sunday. He's going to have to get a job if he wants to continue going to all these Nick Jr. shows.
