Nathan and Kathryn are still loving school. And I mean LOVING school. Kathryn can't get out of my arms fast enough once we walk into her classroom and Nathan walks to his class all by himself without looking back. His teachers told me that he's the "class comforter." Any time there's a kid crying or upset, Nathan is the first one to let the him or her know that everything is okay and that his or her mommy will be back later. His teachers said that it seems like just one day everything registered in his brain about the entire school process, now he's on to helping others. Before he goes to bed at night, he wants to make sure he gets to wake up and go to school in the morning. I'm not real sure who this new kid is.
I don't have any school pictures, but until then, here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks.
Comfortable couch.
We take time-out seriously around here.
Both kids go bananas over bananas. They would eat bananas for every meal, everyday.
Baby Sister eating a cracker that she probably found down in the couch. She goes along behind Nathan and cleans up his food messes.
I believe Baby Sister is going to grow up to be one tough little girl.
Baking cookies to pack for his lunch.
He gets on her nerves so bad sometimes now.
Nathan was invited to a birthday party for a girl in his class. I asked him if he wanted to go and to my surprise, he said yes.
Ten months old and sleeping in a crib for the first time. This is funny because she's surrounded by girly hot pink, but she wears her brother's hand-me-down jammies.
Love the pictures! I'm so glad Nathan and Kathryn love school.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing....Kathryn looks just like Nathan in the last picture.
ReplyDeleteI also think that Kathyrn looks just like Nathan in the crib.
