I felt a little guilty about doing this at first, but I realized that Nathan had 100% mommy time for two and half years before Kathryn came along. And if you remember, I used to spoil him with attention all day, every day. The least I can give Kathryn is 10 hours a week! Kathryn and I took a girls' trip to the beach this morning.... after she got done crying hysterically after dropping Nathan off at school.
The entire beach was Kathryn's playground.
There were only a few other people we had to share the beach with today.
At least when Nathan is around Kathryn stays in one place and plays. Without Nathan there to copy, she is all over the place.
She forgot about Brother being at school a couple of times and stood up and looked around and yelled, "Bruvuh?!?"
We enjoyed our time together at the beach and look forward to spending more best girlfriend days together for the rest of the school year. Next week: manis and pedis!
