This is the start of a long period of weird smiles! Unless you're a really lucky kid, big kid teeth come in really funky. I don't think Nate is going to fall into that lucky category with as tight as his baby teeth are. My baby boy is growing up so fast! He lost his first tooth on March 5 while wiggling it around with his tongue in the bathtub.
Here he is minus one tooth.
The night he lost his tooth he stuck it under his pillow, but quickly got it back out and said he wasn't quite ready to give it up to the tooth fairy. He really wanted Paw-Paw and Lady to get a chance to see it before the tooth fairy came. I explained to him that the tooth fairy would be very understanding if he wrote her a note explaining the situation. So he did.

I wot to sav my toth to show Paw-Paw and Ladey. Ples lev me money now tho.

I think you meant to say the Tooth Fairy didn't have any ones.
