Gerken girls.
Aunt Ruth stopped by to visit one more time before we left. Kathryn will be completely different next time we're back in Georgia.
Kathryn will be about 7 months old before she gets back to Georgia. I say that because flying with two kids is no fun. No fun at all. And that was even with Paw-Paw's help. I can't imagine how impossible that would have been all by myself. Nate and Kate were both great and well-behaved, it's just a lot of work.
I bet you didn't know that if you push that button on the armrest it makes the airplane go super fast.
I also bet you never would have guessed that we flew on a B-2 on our second leg. I'm serious. Just ask Nathan.

We arrived in Rapid City and went to our house to see just how much water damage there was. There was a lot... the entire house. We won't be living there for several weeks while it's being fixed. We turned a hotel into our home until we get to move back. It's not really a bad deal. We have an indoor pool, breakfast every morning, and a cleaning lady. I don't know if I want to go back!
(These pics are for you Uncle Joe/Landlord. Hope you can handle it.)

Nathan sure loves talking about his messy house. He points to the corner where the pipe burst and says, "Right there is where the water came it. Our carpet got all wet. We have to buy new carpet." That's his story he likes to tell over and over.
Well, I'm sure Nathan is probably the only one who loves talking about the mess in that house.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what the inside of Joseph's house looks like. The house looks quite spacious empty. Now, work your decorating magic, Megan. Lady
ReplyDeleteYou really do have a blank page, I mean house, to work with. Just think how fresh it will look when it's back.........good for prospective buyers/renters.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Aunt Ruth
