Nathan Days Continue

I've decided that I don't need to worry about sending Nathan anywhere when I go into labor. He will be my labor coach this time around. He's gone to almost every checkup with me and has gotten to know Dr. Frederickson (and the rest of the staff) very well. As soon as she comes in the room, he starts telling her everything that is on his mind. She laughs and laughs at all that he has to say. She thought that it was especially cute when he started dancing to Baby Kathryn's heartbeat. She said she bets it is so much fun hanging out with him everyday. I told her it's a blast and she's more than welcome to try it any time she wants!

This is what Nathan looks forward to every two weeks. He puts his airplanes on the swivel stool and spins them around while we wait.
Then he thought that he would like to sit on the table.
Out of the blue, Nathan started telling Dr. Frederickson what our plans were for the day. This was all news to me. He started off by telling her that we were going to "Nards" (Menards). Then if that wasn't enough, he told her that were going to see Hank and Mace, as well. Needless to say, we didn't get around to seeing Hank and Mace, but we did go look at fans.
Then he remembered the playground they have in the garden area. We had to go check that out, too.
This works out great on cold days. It's a huge enclosed playground. The best part about it is that there are never any other kids there.
He thinks he just needs this car. (Lady and Paw-Paw, DO NOT buy him this car. I know you have a difficult time not giving in to everything that Nathan says he "needs.")
Yesterday was warm enough to play outside, so we definitely had to take advantage of that. I'm not sure how many more days we'll have to play outside. He's been telling me that he needs an umbrella (he saw it on TV), so I gave him my umbrella to play with while I cleaned out all of the leaves and tree branches from the backseat of my car.
Oma painted Bert and Ernie pumpkins for Nathan while she was here. We moved them out to the front porch for everyone to see. Later that evening, Nathan was looking out of the living room window and decided that it would be better if we turned the pumpkins around to face our house instead.
This is why I had to clean out the backseat of the car. I had quite the collection of leaves and tree branches back there.
