Nathan and Parker's friendship has really grown since we've been able to visit monthly.
I guess I'm going to have to get one of these slides for our living room in South Dakota.
Parker does extreme sliding. He would go down in a different position each time.
Nathan is lending a helping hand as Parker gets up.
Parker's exact words, "Haaaa ha! Nafen's funny!" They laughed together all day long. Apparently, Parker understands Nathan's vocabulary a little better than I do because Nathan would say something to him, then they would both laugh hysterically.
Parker and Nathan discussing the rain.
Sweet boys... for now. Give 'em time.
Parker's hugs double as tackles.
Nathan must be telling Parker something very important.
Parker shared some pretzels with Nathan.
Nate Dogg and Master P provided our musical entertainment.
Parker is probably the most loving little boy I have ever met in my life. Maybe he can teach Nathan a thing or two.
Checking out his new scooter.
When we arrived in Knoxville, I pointed out the great big gold ball (aka the Sunsphere) to Nathan. We were lucky enough to arrive during rush hour so we got to sit and stare at it for a while. Nathan repeatedly said "Oh Wow!" for as long as it was in view.
Nathan met another new friend on our way out of town. We had lunch with my friend, Cordia and her husband, Chris and 14 month old son Jay. Nathan and Jay didn't really get to hang out because they were forced to behave and sit still at the table, but I'm sure they would have had lots of fun had they been given the chance to run and play. Here they are enjoying their beverages together.
Grandma and Grandpa sure were excited for us to get back home. More specifically, excited to see Nathan. If you didn't know better, you would think I took Nathan away for a year. It's a shame he's so deprived of attention.
