Mix-n-Match

I have so much to write about, but I just can't settle down for long enough to get a post put together. I'll share one of my emergency posts that I had on reserve for times like this. Here are some random pictures and videos taken recently. I've combined them to form a mix-n-match post just to tide you over until I can post about our weekend activities.

Nathan thinks that every airplane that flies over is Daddy. He points up and says, "Airplane, Daddy. Hi Daddy!" As far as Nathan is concerned, he sees Daddy at least a couple of times each day.

This rock has been Mace's rock from the day Grandma and Grandpa moved in. Nathan is trying to tell Mace to move and get down. Mace loves Nathan and all, but he is not about to give up his rock.

I don't know if Nathan is going to be able to handle life without a dog when we get back to Rapid City. More specifically, life without Mace. Nathan falls asleep at night talking about Mace.

Of course, I wouldn't be showing a typical day in the life of Nathan if I didn't show his obsession with his bobbleheads. Bobbleheads are the reason he gets out of bed each morning. Seriously. He slept with me a couple of nights ago and he got up at 2:15 a.m. and headed out to the kitchen. He tried to get out of bed a couple of times before that, but I didn't let him. Then finally I just let him go because I was curious to see what he was wanting to do. Sure enough, this kid was headed straight for the bobbleheads. I asked him what he was doing and he started crying so we went back to bed. Needless to say, he's not moving to a big boy bed anytime soon.

Nathan is being his silly self. He thinks he's so hilarious when he steals food off of Grandpa's plate. He is quite the jokester.

Mace is showing off Nathan's fuzzy polar bear he made at school. This picture doesn't do it justice. There are cotton balls glued on it, and if you show it to Nathan, he gets a proud smile on his face.

  1. I'm going to expect four posts a day when you get back to South Dakota.
