Nathan and I couldn't go back to Rapid City without making one more trip to Tennessee. Grandma and Grandpa even went this time. We spent the morning exploring the Great Smoky Mountains. Nathan and Grandpa have started an annual national parks vacation each January. It started last January when Steve went TDY to Las Vegas and Nathan and I joined him. Grandpa flew out for a few days and we took a road trip to the Grand Canyon.
Laid back and relaxing on the drive up. Nathan is just too cool.
Grandpa and Nathan in the Smoky Mountains.
I'll throw in a picture of Grandpa and Nathan at the Grand Canyon just for good measure.
After we left the mountains, we headed to Seymour for a visit with the Luttrell Bunch. We've been able to visit them once a month since we've been in Georgia. It's been great. Of course, Nathan and Parker played together until they could barely stand up. It worked out nicely because Nathan passed out ten minutes into our trip home.
Sitting in Eddie's chair.
Face off.
Teresa taught Nathan how to use the sit-n-spin.
Apparently he wasn't paying attention, though.
Running fast. He and Parker played chase. They had fun and there were only a couple of collisions.
These are Nathan's honorary grandparents, Eddie and Teresa. Nathan is one lucky kid!
Did you forget I was with you at the Smoky Mountains?
