Then we headed back to the garden center playground. It's enclosed so it's not too freezing cold to play on.
Not too freezing cold is still considered pretty cold here, if you can't tell by how Nathan is dressed.
A few rides on the roller coaster before we decided to move on to another department in the store.
Doors are another fun section. Nathan only knows about Menards because we've spent so much time there shopping for Uncle Joe's house we've been fixing up for the past two years.
I finally got him to leave Menards (by bribing him with the purchase of Skittles and a Cherry Coke). Then we braved the cold at the Air and Space Museum.
I believe we are the only hardcore airplane fans. The only tracks through the snow were ours (well, mine since Nathan made me carry him because he hated walking through the snow) and deer tracks.
We also stopped at Kmart, per Nathan's request. He loves this Christmas yard decoration. Maybe it will be on sale after Christmas. We still have until April or May before we would have to take our Christmas decorations down around here.

Looks like it was a perfect day for Nathan.
ReplyDeleteNathan is going to miss going to home improvement stores when you move into your next rental.
