Oh Brother!

Aside from Nathan's slip-ups and mentioning that he doesn't like Baby Sister, I actually believe that, for the most part, he does like her. He gives her kisses and hugs even when he doesn't think anyone is watching. He keeps her entertained and loves sharing his toys with her. When I say he loves sharing his toys, I really mean he likes piling his toys on her.

Kathryn is hoping we get a call from the hospital telling us they made a mistake and gave us the wrong baby. She's out of luck... that's her big brother forever whether she likes it or not!
Nathan thinks its funny when she kicks the blocks off.
It looks like Baby Sister loves bristle blocks, too.
Burying Baby Sister with his Little People nativity set.
Whoops. She doesn't like having them dropped on her face. As Nathan says, "It just be an accident."
When Nathan was a baby, I hated having little kids near him. Now I think its so cute seeing Nathan all in Kathryn's face. I guess its different when both kids are mine.
Nathan hasn't cared anything about the presents under the tree until today. He was moving them out of the way so that he could get to the end table, then he stepped on one of them and poked a hole in the wrapping paper. It started making noise, so he peeled the ripped part back and took a peek. He got very excited. I patched it back up. Now he keeps bringing me presents and asking me to open them. Luckily Steve is here to tell me no or else we wouldn't have any presents left for Christmas.

  1. I love those grandkids! Looks like life at the Meissner's home is getting into a pleasant routine.
We won't have to worry about being very quiet when Kathryn sleeps... Nathan is making her immune to noise and jostling.

  2. To bad Nathan's mommy doesn't have her mom there to take the presents back to the tree instead of opening them.
