Birthday Bash

Kathryn had quite the birthday bash. She had guests travel from Minnesota, Georgia and Florida to be with her to celebrate her big day.
Birthday kisses.
Eating her birthday lunch.
Her pink zebra cake to match her favorite pink zebra blanket.
Kathryn's personal birthday cake.
This was the big brother cake.
Nathan was kind enough to taste the cake before anyone else to make sure it was good.
Kathryn loved being sung to, so we sang "Happy Birthday" twice for her.
Paw-Paw and Lady brought her pink roses.
Nathan laughed at how messy Kathryn got with her cake.
Nathan was very careful to make sure he only ate the frosting.
Messiest baby ever.
I'm pretty sure she enjoyed the cake.
Her demolished cake.
I took Nathan to Toys R Us so that he could pick out a gift for Kathryn. He got her a basket of play food.
As you can see, this was one wild party!
Kathryn's teacher at school suggested a slide for Kathryn's birthday. She said Kathryn loves the little slide at school. She loves her little slide at home now too.
As soon as Nathan saw this slide he said, "I'll share this with Baby Sister."
Nathan had to inspect the pretend food for Kathryn to make sure it was safe for her to play with. Almost a week later and he's still got it.
My little biker baby. She loves this little motorcycle. She would ride it around the house all day if my back could handle it.
She crawls up to the bike and starts yelling and grunting until someone puts her on it.
Setting up her new tent that matches her room perfectly.
Kathryn's room is finally fun and filled with toys.
This is the new sibling hangout.
Nathan enjoyed Kathryn's birthday just as much as she did.
Trying to get back on the motorcycle.
While Kathryn's birthday party was going on, they guys had better things to do. Football.
Uncle Joe was the high bidder on a 1990 Mustang GT on ebay. Here he is watching as the auction was coming to an end......
This was his reaction. You can't really tell if it's a look of winning or losing. This is the look of a winner who bid on a car in Missouri without thinking it through.
The next morning, trying to get back on her motorcycle.
Kathryn and her grandparents: Opa, Oma, Paw-Paw, Lady and Great Grandma Gerken.

Happy Birthday Baby Sister!
