Nathan asked me, "When is it going to be my turn to have a birthday?" There has been lots of talk of other people's birthdays lately, mainly Baby Sister's. But he has also gone to a couple of birthday parties of friends at school. We went to a Pump It Up birthday party most recently.
Nathan stared down that giant slide.
And much to my surprise, he trekked up those wobbly stairs to the 20 ft slide.
He sat at the top looking down... so unsure about what he had gotten himself into, but he did it!

Then they celebrated with cake and presents.
Bunch of cute kids.
He has to suffer through another birthday this weekend. Watching all these other kids get presents can be tough on kid! I'm sure Kathryn will share her new toys with Nathan (whether or not she wants to).
