Nathan is loving his new bunk bed and couldn't wait for Lady to get to our house to see it. Lady stopped in for a super quick visit (12 hours) on her way to Joe's house. She arrived with the best gift anyone could possibly offer Nathan at this point of his life. Twin sheets for the top bunk. She even made his dream of sleeping on the top bunk come true. She slept up there with him because he's not allowed to sleep up there by himself. Sharing a king size bed with him is hard, I can't imagine what it's like sleeping in a twin size with him!
If the new bed alone wasn't exciting enough, it came with lots of big boxes. Nathan and I are working together to build his dream house.
Nathan became interested in attics after looking at our house as we were backing out of the driveway one day. He noticed the second floor windows and asked where the steps were to get up there. He thought we had a whole other level we've been keeping secret. I showed him the drop-down attic door in the garage. He thought it was pretty cool, so I added an attic to his house, complete with the windows like our house.
