Open House

Living in Alabama has been really conducive to family visits. After our Georgia visit last weekend, Uncle Joe, Aunt Lexi and Jessica drove to Pensacola to go house hunting. On their way back to Atlanta yesterday, they stopped by our house for a couple of hours, which happens to be centrally located between Pensacola and Atlanta. We look forward to being the meeting place at least for the next several months.
I'm not sure if this is more of a Mace guard or a Nate guard.
It wasn't that long ago that Nathan used to hover over Kathryn in awe. Now look, another baby has taken her place and she's been pushed to the background.
Believe it, or not, I think Jessica likes Nathan.
Just the sight of Mace puts a huge smile on Kathryn's face. (Like that's saying a whole lot. The sight of anything puts a smile on her face.) We have Mace to thank for Kathryn's crawling. She would see him across the room and try her best to get to him.
Mace acts like he doesn't like to be bothered, but if it were really that serious, he wouldn't go lie down right in the middle of where the kids play.
All this family time must be getting to Kathryn. Here is a cute "shot" of her.
Lady has been asking me to post a picture of Nathan's new haircut. School is starting in a couple of weeks, so Nathan got his bi-annual haircut. Of course, Paw-Paw took him. He's really not that bad anymore, but it's just become the tradition for Paw-Paw to take him now.

  1. I bet Kathryn was relieved when I left, I couldn't help myself, I had to hold her even if it was against her will! Gosh I love my niece and nephew!
