Meissner Mania: Swimsuit Edition

We went shopping for some new swimsuits. Heaven forbid if a baby wore the same suit twice. That would ruin her diva status. Actually, bathing suits are on sale now so that's the reason we went all out and bought four new ones.
She's made it up to her knees and she's been rocking back and forth. We'll see how much longer until she's crawling.
This is her super model pose.
Another day, another swim suit.
Proudly admiring her belly.
In addition to the neighborhood pool, we have a splash park. Kathryn loves it. She sits and squeals with excitement and kicks and splashes. Water splashes all over her face, but she doesn't even care.
Drying off before we head home for a four hour nap. Just another one of the benefits of having this pool.
She's so tired by the time we get home and get a quick bath that there's no time to mess with clothes. She tries to dive out of my arms when she sees her bed. Well, her pack and play. The movers didn't pack the hardware for her crib so she's out of luck in the bed department.
I can't do another post without anything on Nathan. It's been easy going to the pool with just Kathryn. Nathan always said he didn't want to go, so I didn't argue. After Paw-Paw and Lady showed him how much fun he had been missing out on, he decided that he would like to go with us. Juggling an 8-month-old and a three-year-old who can't swim doesn't make for a relaxing day at the pool, but it sure was fun. Nathan and Kathryn kept me laughing all afternoon.
Nathan had a blast at the splash park. He picked up the phrase, "Oh my gracious" somewhere. He was splashing around the water and laughing so hard and saying, "Oh my gracious!" Then he had me saying it because it was funny. Now I think that might be our new expression.
For a kid who doesn't like getting his face wet in the bathtub, he had a pretty good time.
Here he is trying to tell me that it's not time to go home.

  1. I'm glad you all had a great time at the pool. You're quite the "mighty mom", keeping two little ones happy at the pool. Lady
