After School Activity

Kate and I surprised Nate with his swimming trunks when we picked him up from school yesterday. We went straight to the beach after school. We haven't been to the beach for a couple of weeks so I thought it was time for us to recharge our tans.

These two kids owned the beach. It was only us and a few other people scattered along the shore. They didn't have to share any of the sand.

We're taking advantage of the warm weather while we still have it because we might have to start wearing long sleeves a in a month or so... :)
Kate worked on her tan for picture day today.
I thought this was going to be just a quick little beach trip, but it turned out Nate didn't have that same thought in mind.
The playground on the beach was finally not scorching hot. Nathan has waited months to get to play on this playground without burning himself.
