Emerald Coast Fun

Believe me, I'm well aware that according to recent blog posts our entire life looks like one big dance party.
Kathryn was definitely in her element.
That's our boy out there on the dance floor waving his bubble gun around.
That was last night. I didn't get to have fun like that until I went to college. Nate and Kate will be burned out on the whole club scene by the time they're old enough for college. That's where you went wrong, Mom and Dad. Just think about all those arguments over me going out too much that we could have avoided had you just started taking me out when I was a toddler. We went to "The Best of the Emerald Coast." It was a gathering of all the restaurants and businesses that were voted the best in 2010. It was a closed down street of all the beer, wine and food you could imagine and plenty of giveaway trinket type junk for the kids. Glad we brought the stroller.
Kathryn sampled The Melting Pot.
What kind of kid says no to having chocolate poured over his pineapple? He just ate a cup of pineapple chunks.
After the event shut down we hung out in the grassy courtyard area and let the kids play. Steve ran out of beverages so here he is trying to sneak away from the kids so that he can go get more. They wouldn't leave him alone and it was so funny to watch as he tried shooing them away unsuccessfully. We all just sat and laughed from the bench.
Look for more Florida fun next weekend when the Haggertys meet up here to celebrate Lady's birthday. Woohoo!
