Bookworm

It rained off and on all day today so Nathan and I curled up on the couch, bed, and floor and anywhere else he felt the urgent need to read a book. He's finally interested in books so I drop what I'm doing when he wants me to read to him. He has his favorites that he'll carry around hoping that Steve or I will read to him. His cousins, Aly and Emily, got him a new book about dogs that he absolutely loves. You can always tell when he's carrying it around because it's pretty big and heavy and you can hear him grunting and struggling to carry it. As soon as we pick up the book he throws his little body in reverse and backs up until he's sitting on our laps.

He's content just looking at the book all by himself......
Until he catches me watching him, then he brings the book to me and wants me to read it. 

A couple hours later..........still reading the DOG book.


Now we switched to the Elmo book, "So Big."
