This morning I decided to spend a little time with Nathan instead of pawning him off on Grandpa. I did that not only because Grandpa was at work, but I also didn't want Nathan to forget about me. We started the day off right with a delicious breakfast at Waffle House. It was Nathan's first time there, but it won't be his last. He was a pretty big fan of the hashbrowns, scattered and covered. I don't mean to brag, but Nathan was a huge hit with all the Waffle House waitresses too. He kept giving them big smiles with hashbrowns hanging all out of his mouth.
He's a people watcher.
He ate the hashbrowns one shred at a time.
This was his other favorite part of his Waffle House experience.
After we ate, we headed over to Monkey Joe's. When we find a place that Nathan enjoys we sure do wear it out. By the way, I bet the animals at Old MacDonald's Farm and the dirty kids at the mall playground in Rapid City are wondering where Nathan is.
We had the whole kids area to ourselves for the first half, but then all the other kids in Marietta had to show up and ruin our fun.
This is the first sign of being tired. He starts rolling around on the floor.
He stopped rolling and just laid still. That was when I knew it was time to go.
See what I mean?
