There Goes the Neighborhood

Nathan experienced his first taste of graffiti this afternoon. We colored the driveway with sidewalk chalk. Colorful chalk pictures on the driveway aren't viewed very highly in Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood. Grandma is on the architectural committee so she is abusing her power for Nathan's benefit. You see, when it comes to Nathan, rules don't really apply at Grandma and Grandpa's house. When it came to their own kids, life was nothing but rules.

The post wouldn't be complete without showing Mace's involvement in Nathan's daily activities.
Of course, Nathan shared his chalk with Mace. He shares everything with Mace.
Mace is a little confused as to whether or not he's going to get in trouble for chewing up the chalk. He knows he probably shouldn't have done it, but he also realizes that it's usually okay as long as Nathan gave it to him.

  1. There are a few rules that Grandma and Grandpa make Nathan adhere to......no playing with the fireplace doors, don't play with the bathtub faucets in Grandpa and Grandma's bathroom, and don't let Hank take food out of Nathan's hand, just throw it to him.
