Nathan made an appearance at The Terrace so that Great Grandma Gerken could show him off to her friends. He was a hit with the old people. We went outside and played in the courtyard. It was the perfect set-up for Nathan. It had a long sidewalk with loads and loads of trees and flowers on each side so that he could stare at them as he ran fast.
Lady and I took turns running fast up and down the sidewalk with Nathan. After Lady's and my turns were up he went up to Great Grandma Gerken and told her to run fast too. She declined, though.
Great Grandma Gerken wouldn't run fast, but she gave him the next best thing, lots of hugs.

I know Great Grandma Gerken loved her visit from Nathan (and his mom and Lady). Special times and memories.
