After he finally woke up, we headed down to Marietta Square for dinner. He had a good time looking at and climbing on all of the old trains.
We went to Marietta Pizza Company for dinner. It made Nathan's meal when the balloon animal guy came over and made him an animal. He chose a rattlesnake. It had sugar in the tail so that it rattled. He was swinging it all over, then it popped. The restaurant went silent and Nathan yelled, "Paw-Paw fix it!" Nathan helped Paw-Paw burn off that extra piece of pizza by running laps around the square.
He thought that an after dinner swim sounded like a good idea. He tried getting in the fountain until Paw-Paw told him he couldn't. Yes, believe it or not, Paw-Paw actually told him no.
His favorite part was the slide, of course.
Hugging Lily's tail.
Nathan got another balloon animal after his snake broke. This used to be a dog until he played with it so much that it came untwisted.
I heard Hank barking nonstop so I checked on him and found Nathan and Lady playing this game. Hank was doing his best to be part of the fun. This game went on and on and on....
It will be nice getting back to our boring lives in South Dakota just so that I don't have to blog as much. This trip has been nonstop fun for Nathan. I hope he adjusts okay to his previous lifestyle at home. Right now, I don't know for sure. Lately, if I intrude on his time with Paw-Paw and Lady he says, "Mommy, leave" or "Mommy, get out" as he pushes me away. I guess I just can't compete with Paw-Paw and Lady.
Oh, Nathan won't think South Dakota is boring; he's got airplanes there! And lights!
