One good thing that came out of this was that Nathan had a good time going for wheelchair rides around my room. He wanted to go fast down the hall, but we wouldn't let him. I didn't even want him in the hospital. I tried to get Steve to just drop me off, but he was worried so he came in for a little while. After Steve and Nathan left for the night, my nurse was laughing at how funny Nathan was. She couldn't believe how much he talked. She thought it was especially funny when she offered him some juice or milk and he told her he wanted some pop.

Hospital Vacation
As usual, we had an eventful weekend. There is a wicked virus going around town and, of course, I caught it. It started Saturday afternoon and I suffered through it for four hours before deciding it needed medical attention. I was mostly worried about the baby. I was suffering from severe dehydration. I'll spare you the details of how I became so dehydrated, but I ended up staying overnight in labor and delivery at the hospital. The dehydration was causing slight contractions, so they monitored me all night. I checked out on Sunday evening with a clean bill of health. I have to admit though, a night at the hospital being taken care of wasn't all that bad.

Glad to hear everything's ok; I'm sure it's extra scary when you're pregnant.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear everything is OK. I'm sure you don't need anymore of this type of weekend excitement.

Mom and Dad don't need the type of weekend excitement you had.....especially when we can't be there for you. I'm glad you're on the road to recovery. Mace must of sensed something was wrong with you because he whimpered Saturday and Sunday. That's so unlike him. Love, Mom
