Nathan started this new game. We gather pillows from the bedrooms and build a pillow fort on my bed. I love this game because, aside from the occasional random tackle for no reason, it mainly involves just lying on the bed surrounded by a bunch of pillows while I listen to Nathan talk about everything that crosses his mind.
Nathan takes fort-building seriously. It didn't start off this big until Nathan started seeing other pillows around the house and realizing that they could be used on his fort, as well.
Steve is probably wondering why Nathan gets to throw the comforter all over the place, but he gets in trouble when I catch him using the comforter to cover up with, even while he's sleeping. (I don't want it to get all worn looking.) There is a simple explanation for that, Nathan is Nathan.
He says, "Only Nathan can get in here. Only Mommy can get in here. Nobody can get us in here." But, then I asked him if Daddy was allowed in the fort when he gets home and Nathan said, "Otay. Daddy flying those B-1's."
Hiding out in his fort enjoying a CapriSun.
When I come to visit, Nathan can build a fort on Lady's bed.
