Back in SoDak

I have withheld Nathan from the public for long enough. I know many who are anxiously awaiting this post. I'll fill you in our first week back in South Dakota. Our plane was late leaving Denver so Nathan and I got to hang out in the freezing cold terminal for an extra two hours. They give the crappy gates to the planes flying into Rapid City and other nonexistent cities. You have to walk outside to get to your plane, doors are always open to outside so there is a constant icy wind blowing through, no restaurants or vending machines nearby, etc. When we finally got on the plane we had to wait in the never-ending de-icing line. Nathan had a good time watching out the window and pointing to all the airplanes that his daddy was flying. We waited so long that he actually fell asleep sitting up with his face pressed against the glass. We finally got home and as I expected, we were welcomed with a temperature of 4 degrees and icy roads.

Sleepy, but not about to let that bring him down.
He is such a good little traveler. We've got this whole traveling thing figured out. People always comment on how well-behaved he is.
Passed out during de-icing.
When we walked in the house for the first time, Nathan didn't have a clue where he was. He saw the bobble line-up from the foyer to his bedroom and he stood there with a confused look on his face. We bad-mouthed Uncle Joe for a week after he took Nathan's bobbles then all of the sudden his bobbles magically reappeared. Amazing. He sat down in the foyer to play with them and he said, "Uh Joe." We stayed up and played for about two more hours because I wanted to give Nathan a chance to get reacquainted with the house. He did and now he loves it. In addition to his new toys, he's finding a whole bunch of other "new" toys that he had forgotten all about.
We were on our way to get some groceries, but as I was driving I realized that I didn't want to get back out in the cold, so we called in an order to Outback and picked it up curbside instead.
We went to the mall to play. We didn't waste any time getting back into the Rapid City swing of things.

Nathan likes to eat veggie dip with a little bit of vegetables.
We had one "warm" day when we got back so we couldn't resist going outside to play.
We played in the leftover snow.We had a snowball fight.
We like playing in snow like this.
Here are a few other pictures from the week. Enjoy.
