Catching Up

I haven't been the best blogger this week so I'll give you a quick rundown to catch you up.

Oma and Opa arrived last Thursday and left this morning. Nathan played with Oma while Steve and Opa replaced light fixture after light fixture after light fixture. Opa is going to stop visiting because Steve puts him to work as soon as he arrives. I don't have a whole lot of pictures because we just sort of dumped Nathan on Oma and Opa and disappeared quite a bit.

After Nathan's nap, Steve brought him over to Tyler's Funhouse. I was already over there. Steve stayed home during the nap to mess with more light fixtures. Nathan realized that Daddy was the only one there when he woke up, so he made a few diva demands that he wouldn't even begin to try with me. Nathan wouldn't get out of his crib and he kept asking Daddy to bring him some toast. Finally after 20 minutes, Steve broke down and made him some toast and brought it to him. He ate his toast and then he was ready to get up and face the world.

Here is Nathan playing "road." It basically consists of lining up cars. We replaced the living room rug with Nathan's bedroom rug. We don't ever play in his room, so it only makes sense to bring the road rug to the living room. It actually goes well with the other primary color toys that are scattered throughout the entire house.
