Mullet Mutation
I took Nathan to get another dreaded haircut this week. Key word being dreaded. Nathan never throws serious fits ever, but take him to get his hair cut and it's a whole different story. I don't know what it is about getting his hair cut, but he hates it. He acts like the hairdresser is trying to cut his head off. He accepted the first couple of snips without a problem, then the next thing we saw was Nathan in a fit of rage. He was sitting on my lap and squirming around and trying to get down. He got down and looked up to me and said, "Up...move." He was ready to go. I told him he had to finish his haircut, so at that point he was like, "forget you, Mom" and took off running towards the door. He was leaving with or without me...if he could have gotten the door open. I packed all the usual snacks and treats that usually get us through a full haircut, but it just wasn't happening that day. He even refused his Dr. Pepper because he realized that every time he took a sip, the hairdresser took a snip. I gave up the fight and we left with a half a haircut.
