The Dirty South Dakota

I am happy to say that it's 7:45 p.m. and Nathan has already crashed for the night. It might have a little something to do with him "working" in the yard from 1-6 p.m. without ever coming inside. He pulled weeds, shoveled dirt, picked flowers (I didn't get a picture, but he picked me the most lovely pile of dandelions), threw dirt on trees, threw dirt on bushes, threw dirt on himself and pretty much everything else in the front yard. By the time 6 p.m. rolled around, there wasn't a clean spot on his body. Nothing beats dirt.

We followed Steve around the yard picking up the weeds he dug up.
Throwing dirt on trees.
Dumping dirt on bushes.
Helping Steve shovel dirt.
After a couple of hours of throwing dirt into the wind, he finally learned his lesson.
Nathan chugged Gatorade then threw dirt into the wind. Then, the dirt stuck all around his mouth.
Fake smile.
This kid has more toys than Toys R Us, but he chooses to play with Steve's flat wheelbarrow tire. He sits and spins it around and around.
Imagine what our bathtub looked like after his bath.

  1. I'll be there soon, Nathan, with a little boy size shovel and rake. You'll really be able to help your mommy and daddy then. Lady
