I'm here all by myself, so I guess I don't have any excuse not to post on the blog. Lady and Paw-Paw and Nathan loaded the car up with swim suits and sunscreen (and almost everything else they own) and headed to Hilton Head, SC. This will be Nathan's first beach experience. I'm curious to hear about his reaction.
As usual, on our flight down to "Atyanta," Nathan was perfect. He's a natural born traveler. He really enjoys flying and traveling and, even more so, he loves having my undivided attention for several hours at a time. He talked my ears off until he saw Lady at the airport, then he started right up with her. He told her all about the flight... at least four or five times before we even made it out of the airport.
Here is a video of Nathan waiting patiently before take-off। He's very excited and can't wait to get going.
He's such a big boy now. He rides in his very own seat on the airplane. Unfortunately, that means we have to buy him a ticket now too.
The flight into Denver was a breeze. We grabbed some lunch and found an empty gate so that Nathan could run fast and climb on the chairs.
After Nathan got bored with playing at the gate, we moved on to our other airport activity. Moving walkways.
He thinks he's hot stuff now, not holding on. (I didn't let him show off as he stepped on or off though.) We rode these about eight or nine times.
When we got to Paw-Paw and Lady's house, we were given a warm welcome by Mace and Hank. That made the long day of travel totally worth it. Uhhh, I mean, getting to see Lady and Paw-Paw made the travel worth it. :)
I can't believe Nathan stays buckled in to that airplane seat
ReplyDeleteYeah, right. He stays buckled in for takeoff and landing...and that's asking a lot from him.
