Long Distance Babysitters

I have been working with Nathan on the whole idea of picking his toys up and putting them away. He's okay with it at night before bedtime, but it's completely out of the question during the day. I was trying to pick up some of his toys, but it just wasn't working with Nathan's help. Luckily, Lady and Paw-Paw were available to chat with Nathan on the computer and keep him occupied so that I could straighten up a little bit.
You have to get creative with help when grandparents aren't readily available in person. Nathan kept covering his face with the bowl and asking Paw-Paw and Lady if they could see him.
We were finally able to take a walk yesterday. We have had the worst weather. It's been cold and rainy so we jumped at the opportunity to get outside. As if getting to be outside wasn't treat enough, we got to pet our other favorite neighborhood kitty.Nathan thought it was so funny when the cat would just drop down and start rolling around. He kept saying, "Kitty fall down."
Here he is being a copy cat. He had to show me exactly how the kitty fell down.
Steve asked that I put this picture on the blog to help clear up his animal hater image.

  1. Oh, Steve, we know you don't hate animals. Our pets have always gotten some of their best lovin' from you!

  2. Steve and Mace get along just great!
Hank doesn't like anyone in the military. It stems from his first owner, who was in the military.

  3. The day we get a dog is the day I stop calling Steve an animal hater.
