Out and About

I'm not a huge Rapid City fan, but as far as keeping Nathan entertained is concerned, I don't know if we could live anywhere better than here. There are so many "fun" places for him to hang out. I guess it's easy to keep him entertained, though. He has fun doing almost anything.

Nathan climbed into bed with me his morning and asked me for a "tiss." His kiss requests are always followed by another request. I gave him a kiss and the next thing that came out of his mouth was, "Go see airplanes?" So guess what we did today.
We only spent about 30 minutes there today. Thank you rain!
After we left the airplanes, we went to pick out some paint samples at Lowe's. (Uncle Joe is gasping right now wondering what's next on the to-do list for his house and hoping it's not too expensive.) While we were there we looked at the fans.
We were there during a really bad storm, so we killed time until the rain died down.
Daddy is in Arizona picking up a jet, so Nathan and I decided to hit the town while he was away. We joined some friends at the summer nights festival that was going on. The weather was definitely not summer-like, but it was still fun.
Nathan jumped at the opportunity to run wild in the streets.
In case you haven't noticed by now, Nathan loves running in new locations.

This was the longest walk back to our car. Nathan stopped and looked at everything along the way.
As he walked off he said, "I pay in rocks 'morrow. Downtown." He's fascinated with the idea of tomorrow.
Add a trip downtown to Nathan's already lengthy list of places we need to go each day. It sure didn't take him long to get back into the swing of things once I started feeling better!

  1. Nathan should have a great time running along the beach at Hilton Head. Paw-Paw told me to bring a book and sit by the pool because he and Nathan would be very busy. Paw-Paw thinks he'll have Nathan to all to himself...he's wrong. Lady

  2. I'm sure Nathan will love all the sights and sounds of the Peachtree Road Race. Lots of new things to see in Atlanta.

    See you soon,
    Love, Aunt Ruth
