Mail Bonding

Everyone looks forward to receiving packages in the mail. It's exciting. Nathan has discovered the joy of receiving packages in the mail now. One day he received a package in the mail with three bobbleheads in it. That's what started this whole craze. Now Paw-Paw and Lady send him weekly packages. They just send him a few small items, but to experience Nathan's excitement of getting to open mail is priceless. It's so cute.

The highlight of this package was the big chocolate coin.
He's on the phone thanking Paw-Paw and chatting about his mail experience.
A few days later, we came home to find another package sticking out of the mail box.
He wanted to sit down on the porch and open it immediately.
We got inside and opened it. I asked him what he got and he tried to be polite, but his face said everything. He told me with fake excitement, "Lady sent me shampoo." Imagine the disappointment that was going through his mind at that point.

He was pleased to find out that Lady didn't send him shampoo. It was some crazy sucker that you squeeze sour stuff on.

Tennessee lost, but it's hard to be mad when I have this little fan next to me. Nothing says Tennessee baby better than a T-shirt and diaper.

Easter Party

I had Nathan all hyped up about the Easter party with the squadron. We were going to be a team and find all the Easter eggs. It was going to be so much fun. Once we got there and he saw all the B-1's lined up outside, he immediately dropped all interest in running around looking for candy-filled eggs. He gazed out the window and dreamed of one day getting to fly those B-1's, too. To put it mildly, he's obsessed with airplanes.
We got Nathan away from the window long enough to walk over to see the Easter bunny. He wasn't so sure about the bunny at first, so Baby Sister showed him there was nothing to worry about.
Still not sure, but not about to let Baby Sister make him look like a punk.
Once he got down and realized the Easter bunny was harmless, he wanted to stick around and hang out with him. Instead, he had to take a piece of candy and leave.

4 Month Pictures

It's already that time again... Kathryn's four month photos. It is so much fun taking her to get her picture taken. She is so smiley and has such a good time with it. I have to take advantage of it now because if she's anything like Nathan, she won't let me have her pictures taken without a major fight when she's older.
Lucky for Kathryn, Great Aunt Ruth loves to shop. Another month of pictures in another one of Aunt Ruth's outfits.

When I bought this outfit before she was born, I thought it was going to be forever before I would be able to put her in it.
Now here she is in her first little Juicy Couture outfit. Awwwww.
Her hair is getting so long now. Soon she'll trade in her mohawk for bows.
