It's a poor quality picture because I forgot my camera and had to use my phone. Then, later that day we went to First Friday at an ice cream shop. The ice cream shop named an ice cream sundae after the squadron, so we went and ate a Thunderbird Sundae. I forgot my camera and my phone, so no pictures of that.
Nathan thought that Baby Sister might like to take a trip to the Air and Space Museum one day, so off we went. It was waaaaaayyyyy too windy once we got there, so Kathryn stayed covered up.
We had one other semi-decent day here, so I told Nathan that I would take him to see the dinosaurs if he was nice and didn't get mad over stupid stuff. As we were driving up the winding road to get to the top of the hill, he kept telling me whether or not I was going the right way. If the road twisted and he lost sight of the giant dinosaur on the top of the hill, he yelled, "Mommy, you're going the wrong way!" Good thing I have him as a backseat driver to keep me on course. Once we got there, he walked around and looked at them and told me about each one. (This one has funny arms." or "This one stands up real, real, real tall." That's his new thing, adding a lot of "very's" and "really's" to make sure I realize just how extreme something is.)
If that wasn't enough fun, we went to Sam's. He actually does like doing that kind of stuff. He learned that he likes Craisins after trying a sample there.
Steve Meissner Jr. sitting there in the great big recliner.
Telling Baby Sister everything that's going on outside.
She even loves her chair now too.
I have really got to stop calling this little girl "Baby Sister." I catch myself shortening it and calling her B.S., and that's just not cool. I'm going to make a conscious effort from now on and call her Kate.

I'm with you, we have to start calling Kathryn by her name. The pictures are great, especially the ones where Nathan and Kathryn are sitting in their chairs and Kathryn sitting in Steve's recliner. She is really growing and getting prettier everyday. Just five weeks till I get to see my grandkids in person. Love, Lady
ReplyDeleteKathryn is really lucky to have a big brother like Nathan, he is going to teach her a lot.
