A few weeks ago, Nathan, Kathryn and I went to Pottery 2 Paint. I drove by it while we were out carpet shopping one day and realized that Nathan hasn't done that for a while. So here he is unleashing his creative side.

He chose to paint a dog.

Any ideas on which dog he's painting?

He had to wait and let the black paint dry before he could finish with the brown, so he painted a tile in the meantime.

Kathryn just watched.

We picked up the finished pottery today. Now can you tell which dog he painted? I painted the face and details for him.

Mace was Nathan's inspiration for this masterpiece. He should feel very honored.

I can barely tell which dog is real and which one is the painted artwork.

Don't worry Hank, we'll go back and paint you too.
Mace looked at the dog and was very impressed. Hank walked away with his head down after looking at the brown and black dog with spots. I can't wait to see Nathan's masterpiece in 5 1/2 weeks. Love, Lady
ReplyDeleteI like the extreme concentration on Nate's face in the third picture.
