Ugh... I had to take two kids to the doctor for their check-ups, including immunizations. Nathan's three year check-up and Kathryn's four month check-up. Next time I have to deal with two kids getting three shots each, I'm going to have to have a few shots of my own before hand. Not immunization shots either. Nathan went first. He cried only until the band-aids were put on. Next up was Baby Sister. She cried during the shots and afterwards, too. As I expected, Nathan wasn't concerned with his own pain once he saw what was happening to Baby Sister. He went off on the woman stabbing his baby sister's legs. "NO! DON'T DO THAT! SHE'S CRYING! YOU'RE HURTING HER!!! STOP!!!!!!!! STOP HURTING BABY SISTER!!!!!!!" When he saw Baby Sister crying afterwards he almost started crying for her. It was the sweetest moment. I'm glad it's over and I'm glad both kids are doing great.
What's the best way to take Nathan's mind off of the trauma that he endured during his check-up? Air and Space Museum. We went and saw the airplanes afterwards. He talked about it during his entire exam. He told the nurse, "You don't fly airplanes good. Only Daddy flies airplanes good." I'm sure she loved that. Nice kid we have.
There was a little boy, probably about a year older than Nathan, that was also looking at airplanes. Nathan, being the expert pilot that he is, immediately started telling that little boy all about B-1's and which airplane's tires spin. That kid was not impressed with his knowledge, and ran back over to his parents. Nathan is so funny. He's shy until it comes to talking about airplanes.

Showing off his Scooby Doo sticker he got at the doc. Scooby Doo is slowly climbing his list of favorite characters.
