I had Nathan all hyped up about the Easter party with the squadron. We were going to be a team and find all the Easter eggs. It was going to be so much fun. Once we got there and he saw all the B-1's lined up outside, he immediately dropped all interest in running around looking for candy-filled eggs. He gazed out the window and dreamed of one day getting to fly those B-1's, too. To put it mildly, he's obsessed with airplanes.
We got Nathan away from the window long enough to walk over to see the Easter bunny. He wasn't so sure about the bunny at first, so Baby Sister showed him there was nothing to worry about.
Still not sure, but not about to let Baby Sister make him look like a punk.
Once he got down and realized the Easter bunny was harmless, he wanted to stick around and hang out with him. Instead, he had to take a piece of candy and leave.

ReplyDeleteWe'll have to take Kathryn to the Terrace to visit Santa when they have their Christmas party. She'll probably like him, unlike her brother.
ReplyDeleteNathan is a very brave little man for even getting near that scary bunny; the picture of it holding Kathryn makes me want to rescue her (just look at the expression on it's face).
