Sunny Sunday

We finally convinced Steve to quit working on the house for just one day to go out on the boat with Jeff, Tammy and Tyler. We're glad he gave in because it was so much fun. Tammy hooked Nathan and Tyler up with some cool new outfits that they needed to show off. They were quite the little studs sporting their matching surfer get-up.

Nathan was especially excited to go.
"Okay, which key is it?"
"I've seen this done a million times. You just hold these up to the door knob and the door opens."
I wonder why people are always asking us if Nathan and Tyler are twins.

Lazy Friday

We didn't go anywhere or do anything all day, but I figured I better at least post something.
Nathan and I busted out his new crayons today. I wasn't sure if he was going to like them, but he actually loved them and knew what to do. Last time I tried coloring with him, all he wanted to do was suck on the crayons.
Grandma, click on this picture and make it big.

As we were cleaning, Nathan found his old Bumbo chair. He climbed in and out and got stuck a few times.
We just hung out and played with Nathan all evening.

He's brushing up on his geography with Great Grandma Gerken's globe.
Hey Landlord, how do you like the new trim and carpet? I love new carpet because no one else's grossness has touched it yet.

Fat Boy

Finally! Nathan is eating like never before! I couldn't be happier about it. He's eaten everything I've offered him for the past few days. He's really plumping up. I've been taking pictures of his fat, little belly all day long. I love it!

He opted for the fresh fruit with his waffle instead pickles this morning.
Look at his little gut. (Don't laugh at his outfit, it was hot today.)

His face is still dirty from his first dinner.
Some of Steve's friends are here on TDY from Dyess so we went out for dinner. I forgot all about the dinner plans, so I went ahead and fed Nathan his dinner before Steve got home. That sure didn't stop Nathan from eating at Minerva's too. He scarfed down those chicken tenders and smiley-fries like he hadn't eaten all day. It was kind of bittersweet for Steve, he likes for Nathan to eat, but he also likes to eat Nathan's leftovers. And, as usual, we were complimented on how well-behaved our baby was.

After we got home, Nathan played with some toys as I ran the bath water.
Here he is after two dinners! I'm dreading his good morning diaper tomorrow. That's how he tells me good morning each day.

Groundhog Day

By now, you blog readers probably feel like you are in the movie Groundhog Day because you just keep coming here and reading about the same stuff and looking at basically the same petting farm pictures over and over. Imagine how I feel. I'm the one actually going to the petting farm everyday! You guessed it, more Old Mac's Farm pictures. I can't help it, Nathan loves it there!
Tyler used the calf as a bed. The calf rested its head on my lap like my dogs do when I scratch them!
Tyler was trying to rest, but Nathan wouldn't let him. Do all little boys play this rough?
If anyone wants to borrow Nathan as an exercise program, just let me know. Take him outside and I guarantee you will not sit still for long!

Check out his new Nike sandals he got yesterday.
Apparently, a breakfast of waffles and pickles will give you unlimited energy.
