Life's a Picnic

Steve flew to Dyess AFB in Abilene, TX to drop a jet off today. He'll be home tomorrow afternoon. Nathan made sure Daddy had enough hugs to last him through tomorrow. Every time Steve asked for a hug, Nathan quit what he was doing to walk over to give him a hug. He gives the best hugs, especially now that they don't involve biting your shoulders.

This is what he does when he wants to go for a walk. He just sits in his car and waits. It's the perfect opportunity to do stuff that I normally can't do because of little, grabby hands.
After Daddy left, we had to do something to pass the time so we went to the park. We joined Tammy and Tyler for an afternoon at the park followed by some ice cream. Nathan and Tyler had fun feeding the ducks and geese. Actually, Nathan and Tyler had fun feeding themselves.

Afterwards, they had a picnic in the grass. Of course, Nathan wouldn't sit still for very long. He had to make sure he didn't miss out on everything else going on at the park.

They shared a HandiSnack. Nathan ate the crackers.
Guess which part Tyler ate.
Just hanging out.

Checking out Tyler's sweet ride.
Getting a little more playtime in before bed.
