It was a sunny day and we didn't want to stay indoors, so we decided to visit our furry friends down at Old MacDonald's Petting Farm again. Today was Nathan's day, I just followed him around all over. We were there for 2 hours and didn't even make it to half of the animals. The only reason we left was because it started raining. I have a feeling we're going to get our money's worth out of that season pass!
The goats tried to eat Nathan's car.
Nathan's favorite animals today were the calves. We visited the calves three times. There were a bunch of older kids (probably about 8 years old) that were saying they were scared to go up and pet the calves. Just as they were saying that, Nathan walked right up to a calf, dropped down on his knees, and leaned in and put his forehead against the cow's forehead. All of those kids' parents started laughing!
Petting the calf's nose.
Nathan is giving his pig a quick pep talk before the big race.
One of the biggest highlights of Nathan's day was riding the tractor train.....three times. I got him out of the cart and he ran back up to it wanting in, so how could I not let him ride it again? I enjoy watching him ride it just as much as he enjoys riding it. He gets so excited and starts yelling. It's pretty hilarious. He didn't get to ride the ponies today though. It started raining before we made it back there. Maybe next time.
This turkey followed us around all afternoon. He even waited by Nathan's car as he rode the train.
Keep the cute pictures coming! I wish I could be with Nathan, enjoying the farm animals and rides.
