Raging Weekend

On Friday morning, I was determined not to let Nathan have another grumpy day, so I took him to, you guessed it, Old Mac's Farm. Ten minutes after we got there, it started raining. At least he got in a few good hugs and pats on his favorite calves' heads. He loves these calves. He can't get enough of them.

"Ugh, not this kid again."

Nathan has had a busy weekend so far. He went to his first slumber party at Tyler's house. They had fun playing together Friday evening, then went to bed and much to their surprise, they got to wake up and play with each other again Saturday morning. We spent the night at Tyler's house Friday night to "set up" for the neighborhood yard sale on Saturday morning. During our night of setting up, Steve was looking at the engine on Tyler's boat, when all of the sudden BAM!, the cover came down in full force and smashed Steve's big toe and probably broke it. He'll find out on Monday. Needless to say, Steve was in pain, so he hung out all night with frozen vegetables on his toes and frozen margaritas in his hands.

I took such good care of Steve. See, I gave him this diaper to wear on his foot to soak up the blood.
After the yard sale, we decided to take the boat out for the afternoon. Nathan and Tyler got their first taste of boating. At first, the hum of the motor almost made Nathan fall asleep.

He looks like a little surfer dude with his crazy blonde hair and Body Glove suit.
After about a half hour of almost dozing off, he wanted to get in the water so bad. I should have put him in it so he would have realized how cold it was and stopped trying to climb overboard. After he finally gave up on getting in the water, he was up singing along with the music and entertaining us all with his super-hot dance moves. He can definitely get a party started!
This is Hans, and he's here to pump you up.
Tyler's future's so bright, he's gotta wear shades.
Cute Tyler.
Nathan and Tyler's other friend, Casen and family, also joined us.
Daddy is getting Nathan ready for bed. We had a feeling he was going to pass out as soon as he got home. Sure enough, he did.

  1. Why is Nathan not wakeboarding yet? He needs a wet suit that will keep him warm in the cool waters so he can do his stunts! :) Looks like fun!

Hope Steve's toe heals up really soon!
