Nathan and I waited for Steve's arrival all day. Nathan was so happy to see his daddy. He insisted on showing him everything all over the house. He walked around the rooms pointing to objects and telling Steve about them as if Steve hadn't ever seen this stuff before. You could definitely tell that he was glad to see Steve. You could definitely tell that Steve was just as glad to see him. Nathan racked up on souvenirs from Steve's British Getaway followed by his one day stay in the desert. Nathan now has a new "Beer Money" piggy bank, a couple of shirts, a beer stein and a new favorite book.

During our European travels, Steve started a beer stein collection. We have 44 steins on display (that's all that fits in the cabinet). He holds his stein collection dear to his heart. It goes 1.) Nathan 2.) Steins and 3.) Everything Else. Steve presented Nathan with his very first stein. Steve and I made a huge deal out of the stein. We were both gasping with "oooohs" and "ahhhhhhs" and "wows" so Nathan joined in on the sound effects. Now, Nathan is so proud of his new stein on display in the cabinet.  
Just what Nathan needs, a new dog book. Now I get to read two dog books all day long.
