Oma and Opa's Visit

Nathan was pleasantly surprised when he woke up from his nap and found Oma and Opa waiting for him in the living room....not to mention all the new toys they brought along with them. He played with the new toys then we went to dinner at Fireside Inn. Nathan filled up on filet mignon, baked potato, bread, watermelon, tomatoes and finished it off with a Rice Krispies Treat. He was such a good little boy at the restaurant. Of course, he kept us entertained during dinner. No dinner pictures though, we all forgot our cameras.

After dinner, we came home and Nathan took a bath with his new boat. He loves his new boat.  

After his bath he really let loose. He was such a show-off for Oma and Opa and demanded every bit of everyone's attention until bedtime. Which, by the way, wasn't until 10 p.m. because he was so wound up. He was a real piece of work tonight.

And last, but certainly not least, Nathan would like to say thank you to his cousins Aly and Emily for sending along their Kung Fu Panda Happy Meal toys. Nathan had the character that did backflips, but it broke. Steve and I bought Happy Meals in hopes of getting a new flipping toy, but no such luck. (He seriously loved that toy. He used to bring it to me after it broke and wanted me to make it flip, so I would fake a flip. I wasn't fooling anybody though.) Here he is forcing me to make his new toy flip.
