The Kat's Out of the Bag

Kathryn Elizabeth decided to grace us with her presence on November 19 at 5:04 a.m. The second that I saw her, I forgot all about how miserable she made me for those nine months. We came home from the hospital this afternoon. I could have stayed one more day (and I'm sure I'll be kicking myself tonight when I want to sleep and I don't have the hospital nursery to call), but I really missed Nathan.

Ahhhh, it feels so good not being pregnant. Here we are about 10 minutes after delivery.

Steve is bound and determined to be Kathryn's favorite. He's finally resigned to the fact that Nathan is a mama's boy and there's no changing that.

Just to compare, here is newborn Nathan.
As everyone knows, Nathan is extremely spoiled with all of my attention, so you can imagine how big of a relief it was to have Nathan so excited to meet "Baby Sister" for the first time. He showed her all of his favorite toys and even went up and gave her a kiss on his own. He likes to know where Baby Sister is at all times and what she is doing.
