A Lot to Give Thanks For

This Thanksgiving was a special one for Nathan and Kathryn. They got to enjoy the company of both sets of grandparents at the same time. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Wednesday evening because Paw-Paw had to leave on Thanksgiving morning.

I'm glad Kathryn decided to join us for Thanksgiving.
I definitely have a lot to be thankful for.
Nathan helped me prepare my first Thanksgiving meal ever. I don't think I would have been able to pull it off without his help. He helped me put the fried onion topping on the green bean casserole. He actually ate more than he was willing to put on the green beans.
You should have seen how mad he got at me when I dumped the rest of the can of onions on the beans. Of course, Paw-Paw immediately made a special trip to the grocery store to replenish Nathan's onion supply.
After Nathan and I drove Paw-Paw to the airport on Thanksgiving morning, Oma and Opa took Nathan to Mount Rushmore to run around the trails.

Then Lady arrived that afternoon.

  1. Nathan sure makes an adorable big brother! And I just can't get over how much Kathryn looks like her daddy! It's so funny! (But I guess I should be used to that, since I've got a girl like that too :)
