No Time for the Nesting Phase

Around this time during my last pregnancy, I couldn't get enough things organized and cleaned around the house. This time around is very different. I figured out why. I actually do have the urge to clean, but Nathan doesn't let me. I have been digging through closets and drawers and filling up garbage bags of clothes and junk to get rid of, but I always seem to have to stop for some reason or another. Here is a prime example of why I can't get anything done. I was organizing one of the family room closets and Nathan found the exercise ball. Picture this: A big exercise ball on the couch, a kid laying across the ball facing the center of the room and pushing off the back of the couch with his legs. How do you think that scenario turns out? Yes, he landed right on his face. Boy did he cry when he hit the floor. I think he was more scared than anything. And when I say scared, I mean he was scared of getting in trouble. He immediately started saying, "I'm otay, Mommy. I'm otay, Mommy." Needless to say, he got a bloody nose and a fat upper lip. I don't know what I'm going to do with this kid.
