6 Months Old

I don't envy people at all when I see them with newborn babies. I'll take my six month old over any newborn baby any day of the week. People may think I'm crazy for this, but I'm glad the days of having a newborn baby are over with. (Sorry to all the bazillion pregnant women I know right now.) Things start getting cuter and more fun around four months, but six months old is perfect. She's only going to keep getting better and better from now on. I love this age. She is so much fun to be around and it's impossible to be around her without laughing out loud and smiling. She has developed a HUGE personality. I think she realizes that she has her brother's HUGE personality to compete with. This should be interesting to watch.

Swimsuit Model

I bought Kathryn a couple of swimsuits to get her through the Alabama heat. I couldn't resist, I had to put one of them on her. Oh man, she's cute. The top rides up to make room for her chubby, little belly. I love it.
She actually wore the swimsuit for the rest of the day just so I could look at her and laugh
She's been so bundled up for the past six months that I just love seeing her perfect little fat rolls hanging out.
Nathan doesn't show a whole lot of interest in hugging and kissing Kathryn very much anymore, so I grabbed my camera and took picture after picture of this rarely seen affection. Believe it, or not, I did narrow it down to just these 17 pictures. I have a lot more.
